
Entity Registration
The Big decision. Below are the documents required to register a business.
Now that your business name is approved, follow these steps to register your entity with BIPA:
1. Close Corporation (CC) Registration Documents Required:
CC1 Form (3 Copies):
Completed and signed by all members, an accountant, and a witness.
Certified Copies of IDs for all members and the witness (not older than 6 months).
Accountant’s Consent Letter (confirming their role in the CC).
Registration Fee: N$150
Submission & Process:
Submit all documents to a BIPA office or here.
Once approved, you’ll receive a Certificate of Incorporation, legally establishing your business.
2. Private Company (Pty) Ltd Registration Documents Required:
Memorandum & Articles of Association (MOI): Defines the company’s structure and operations.
CM29 Form (Notice of Directors): Lists company directors.
CM22 Form (Registered Address): Provides the official business address.
Certified Copies of IDs for all directors and incorporators (not older than 6 months).
Consent Letters from directors.
Registration Fee: Varies (Check BIPA for updated rates).
Submission & Process:
Submit all documents to BIPA
